Full AVCA Rankings

The New York University men's volleyball team rose to #4 in the nation in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III Poll, which was revealed on Tuesday, January 28. 

The Violets (4-0) earned a total of 287 points and rose four spots in the rankings after securing their fourth win in a row.

In the team's most recent match, NYU traveled to Glenside, PA, on January 23 for a match with #10 Arcadia University (3-3). After dropping the first set to the Knights, the Violets recovered to win three straight and maintain their unbeaten record. 

NYU opened the 2020 season ranked #13 in the AVCA Pre-season Poll. Then, after winning their first three matches at the Cal Lutheran Invitational, the Violets rose to #8 (189 points) in the January 21 rankings. 

The Violets will return to the court on Tuesday, February 6, for a 7:00 pm matchup with Baruch College at the Brooklyn Athletic Facility in Brooklyn, NY.
