NCAA Championships Information
The 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships kick off this week at the University of Mount Union in Geneva, OH, from Thursday-Saturday, May 23-25.
Four members of the New York University men's track and field team are set to compete in three events.
Junior
Julian Montilus is ranked 16th going into the 400m hurdles. Last week at the All-Atlantic Region Championships, Montilus set the NYU school record in the event with a time of 53.32.
Senior
Malcolm Montilus is ranked sixth heading into the 400m dash, setting his best time (47.42) at the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships in April.
The Montilus brothers will be joined by freshmen
Brett Asay and
Daniel Devine in the 4x400m relay. The foursome recorded their best time last week at the All-Atlantic Region Championships, finishing with a time of 3:13.97. The 4x400m team enters the event ranked 11th.
