New York University Head Coach Now-Allah James and his softball program are featured in the November 2019 edition of Fastpitch Delivery, a publication of the National Softball Coaches Association (NFCA).

James has headed the NYU varsity softball program since its inception prior to the 2015 season. During this five-year span, the Violets have produced three-20-win seasons, three postseason appearances and an Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship in 2016.   

The Violets open the 2020 campaign on February 22 at Kean University.
