The New York University men's fencing team was defeated by Harvard University on Super Bowl Sunday, February 4, in Cambridge, MA.

NYU (18-9) fell to the Crimson (10-1) by a score of 14-13. The Violets completed their weekend trip to Massachusetts after going 6-0 at the Eric Sollee Invitational at Brandeis University on Saturday.

Will Zhang, Alexandre Crepeaux and Hans Engel posted identical 2-1 records in epee, while Mickey Bak was 3-0 in sabre.

The Violets return to action on Wednesday, February 14, when they travel uptown to Columbia University. The Quad Meet will also feature Scared Heart University and Vassar College. The competition is set to begin at 5:00pm.
