The New York University men's volleyball team cruised to a sweep of the Polytechnic Institute of NYU on Tuesday, March 26, in Brooklyn, NY.
The Violets (11-11) brought their record back to .500 with a 25-10, 25-15, 25-14 sweep of the Fighting Blue Jays (6-16).
Highlights

Karl Johnson put down a career- and team-high nine kills on .538 hitting. He added seven digs.

Colin LaPorte also hit .538 while notching eight kills and two blocks.

Keith Waddell tallied seven kills in his two sets of action, as well as four digs.

Andrew Quirk totaled a match-best nine digs at libero.
Connor Mortland (17 assists) and
Dan Huang (nine assists) shared time at setter, with Huang adding four service aces and Mortland three.

George Koch also had four aces, while
Phil Bueno recorded three service aces and three blocks.
- Fild Kroqi tallied a match-high 11 kills for NYU-Poly, accounting for nearly all of the team's 15 kills. Rishi Sarkar assisted on 13 of those kills.
“It was a good performance,” said Head Coach
Jose Pina. “Almost the whole team got a chance to play. It was a workman-like match and we took care of business.”
The Violets return to the court on Thursday, March 28, when they travel to Union, NJ, to take on Kean University. First serve is at 7:00 pm.
