- After committing 10 and six attacking errors, respectively, in the first two sets, NYU settled down for the rest of the match, as the team only committed six errors in the last three sets combined.

- Putting the struggles of their first two sets behind them, the Violets hit an outstanding .532 in the last three sets.

“We persevered,” remarked Head Coach Jose Pina. “We fell down 2-0 and then our guys started playing at their level and putting pressure on Hunter with our serving game. From there we just took off.”

The Violets return to competition on Saturday, February 2, when they will travel to Utica, NY, to open United Volleyball Conference (play) against SUNYIT.
