The NYU women's fencing team won a close road match at Tufts University on Saturday, February 5, in Medford, MA.

In a tightly-contested match, NYU prevailed 14-13.

The Violets' foil squad spearheaded the victory behind captain Amanda Rysling.  Foil was 8-1 overall, and Rysling swept all three of her bouts.

NYU lost 6-3 in both sabre and epee.
