NYU Adaptive Sports is a student-organization (under the supervision of Campus Recreation) that is dedicated to creating opportunities for current and prospective NYU students with disabilities to pursue their athletics and academic goals alongside their non-disabled peers.
About Us
Two years ago, a small group of NYU students set out to answer a simple question: why shouldn't NYU have a home for adaptive athletes? Today, NYU Adaptive Sports is that home — the first collegiate-level, multi-sport adaptive sports program of its kind in the NYC area, welcoming students with and without disabilities to train, compete, and build community together. We've already brought home wins at the inaugural Move United College Cup and ParaTriathlon College Cup, and we're building toward a future with real competitive pathways, thanks to partners like Move United, Achilles International, and the Challenged Athletes Foundation. If you're a student-athlete, a coach, or just someone who wants in — reach out. This is only the beginning.
