IC4A Championship Results

Several members of the NYU men's track & field team participated at the IC4A Championships at Princeton University on Saturday.

Looking to post personal-best times in their respective events were senior Calvin Lee, junior Matt Turlip and freshman Daniel McKinney.

Turlip, who has already qualified for the upcoming NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships later this month, just missed setting a personal best. His 14th-place time of 3:50.42 was just off the 3:50.21 he ran last month, which is currently the seventh-fastest time in Division III this season.

McKinney, meanwhile ran personal bests in both the 400 meters (48.27) and in the 200 meters (22.10). His 400-meter time is currently tied for the ninth fastest in NCAA Division III this season and is a provisional qualifier for the NCAA Championships.

Running in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Lee posted a time of 9:11.91. His best time this season is  9:09.31, currently the eight-fastest time in the nation and a NCAA "B" qualifying standard.
