The Liberty League announced its 2025-26 Women's Golf All-Conference Teams on Friday, with five members of the NYU women's golf team earning First Team honors.
Jiayi Fu was named Liberty League Player of the Year, while Inha Jun earned Rookie of the Year honors. NYU head coach Brad Johnson and assistant coach Daniel Moneymaker were named Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year after leading the Violets to another standout season.
Fu, Jun, Sonia Hao, Naomi Tan, and Tiya Chowdary were each named to the All-Liberty League First Team following strong performances throughout the season.
Fu earned Player of the Year honors after a standout season for the Violets. She won the Liberty League Championship and recorded top-five finishes at the Jack Leaman Invitational, Stith Invitational and Jekyll Island Collegiate. Fu also captured an individual title at the Tartan Invitational during the fall season. Throughout the year, she was named Liberty League Performer of the Week three times, UAA Athlete of the Week three times and Liberty League Rookie of the Week twice. Fu was also selected to the UAA Championship All-Tournament Team.
Jun made an immediate impact during her rookie season, tying for second at the Liberty League Championship to earn both Rookie of the Year and First Team honors. She also recorded four additional top-10 individual finishes throughout the season and earned Liberty League Rookie of the Week honors three times.
Hao also tied for second at the Liberty League Championship to earn First Team honors. During the season, she recorded top-five finishes at both the Jack Leaman Invitational and Stith Invitational and was twice named Liberty League Honorable Mention.
Tan finished fourth at the Liberty League Championship to earn First Team honors. During the season, she captured an individual title at the Stith Invitational and added a top-10 finish at the Jekyll Island Collegiate.
Chowdary rounded out the First Team selections after placing fifth at the Liberty League Championship. During the season, she recorded top-10 finishes at the Jack Leaman Invitational and Williams Fall Invitational. She was also named UAA Championship MVP, earned a spot on the UAA Championship All-Tournament Team, and was selected as both UAA Athlete of the Week and Liberty League Performer of the Week twice.
NYU capped off another strong season with a team title at the Liberty League Championship while continuing one of the top stretches in program history.
The Violets will conclude their season at the NCAA Division III Championship, scheduled for May 19-22 in Palm Desert, California.
