The New York University men and women's golf teams continued their spring seasons at the Jekyll Island Invitational round two, hosted by Ogelthrope University on Saturday, March 21.
On the men's side, the Violets improved in the second round, posting a team score of +6 to bring their total to +20 over the first two days heading into the final round on Sunday. NYU sits in 28th place out of 30 teams.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan led NYU with a 70 in the second round.
Oscar Uribe followed with a 72, while Qi (Steven) Liu and Kai Nam Ryan Leung each carded a 76, while Bryan Zhao rounded out the lineup with an 86.
The nationally third-ranked women's team sit in third place out of 24 teams through two rounds with a score of +25, placing four players among the top 50 individually. They posted a team score of +8 today.
Jiayi Fu led NYU with a 71 in the second round. Inha Jun followed with a 73, while Sonia Hao and Naomi Tan each carded 76. Hao remains tied for second individually through two rounds. Tiya Chowdary rounded out the lineup with an 83.
The Violets will next hit the links tomorrow for the final round of the Jekyll Invitational.
