The New York University women's golf team is tied for first after Round One of the NCAA Division III Women's Fall Preview on Monday, October 19, at Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, VA.
NYU opened the tournament with a team score of 299 (+11), matching Washington University in St. Louis for the lead in the 15-team field. The Violets hold a two-stroke advantage over third-place Emory, which carded a 301 (+13).
"We stayed patient in windy conditions, and were able to finish strong. The field is closely bunched together so we're going to have to play well tomorrow," said Head Coach
Brad Johnson.
