The New York University women's golf team completed the third and final round of the UAA Championship on Tuesday, September 15, at Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, OH. The Violets finished in fourth place of four teams.
Facing off against WashU on Tuesday,
Inha Jun played a steady round en route to a 4&3 victory.
Naomi Tan won her final hole to secure a 1-up match win.
WashU won four of the six individual matches.
"I'm proud of our team, even though we fell a bit short," said Head Coach
Brad Johnson.
The Violets finished in fourth place as Emory took first. NYU went 5-10-3 in their individual matches over the two-day competition.
"This will help us focus on what we need to work on in order to achieve our lofty goals," continued Johnson.
NYU will next compete in the Tartan Invitational on September 28-29 in Farmington, PA.
