The New York University men's and women's track and field teams continued their indoor season on Friday, January 30, at the Metropolitan Indoor Championships, held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island.
13 NYU individuals competed across both teams on Friday.
Amalia Hronides took 14th overall in the women's high jump, topping out at 1.50m.
Alexa McMillian was just short of the points for NYU in the women's long jump. The freshman produced a ninth-place finish with a 5.16m best jump.
The Violets scored another top-15 finish in the women's shot put with a 10.59m throw from senior
Emma Grunin.
NYU continues its indoor slate on Friday, February 6, at The Armory in the Rutgers Scarlet Knight Open.
