Horace Choy. "He dominated his first match and really wasn't challenged in his second match."
Zheng will now face Aiden Drover-Mattinen, also from RPI, in Sunday's semifinal match.
"Boren's opponent tomorrow is the number one seed in the tournament, which should make for a very entertaining match-up," Choy added.
Also competing for NYU on Saturday was freshman
Bryan Hui, who was nipped by Tsubasa Okada, another RPI participant, 3-6, 6-4, 13-11 in the Round of 16.
"Bryan showed a lot of positives this weekend and he competed very well today," Choy explained. "He unfortunately came up just a little short. This tournament was a good experience for him and will help during the spring season."
