Richardson Finishes as 10k National Runner Up on Day 1 of the NCAA Championships

Grace Richardson kicked off competition at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships in Myrtle Beach, SC, on Thursday, May 23.

Richardson placed second in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 34:55.05, besting third-place Riley Buese of Lewis & Clark College by nearly 50 seconds.

Julian Aske of the men's track & field team will compete in the 800-meter run tomorrow, May 24, and on Saturday, May 25, Ryan Tobin will take the track in the men's 5,000-meter run. Richardson will also return to the track for the 5k on Saturday.
