The New York University men's tennis team was defeated by Skidmore College 6-3 on Saturday, March 5, in Saratoga Springs, NY.
The Violets dropped the first four singles matches, before #5
Matt DeMichiel recorded a straight-sets victory, which was followed by a triumph by
Yanik Parsch in three sets.
In doubles play, the #2 team of
Shrikar Kundur and
Sidd Thangirala pulled out a narrow 9-8 win.
"The men played better today," said Head Coach
Horace Choy. "We have a quick turnaround to play Vassar tomorrow, and I expect our guys to be ready."
The team returns to action tomorrow at 12:00 pm in The Bronx, NY, where they will take on Vassar College.
