Women's Honors | Men's HonorsThirteen New York University tennis team members earned 2014-15 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete Honors, the organization announced on Thursday, July 16.
The women's team lead the way with eight Scholar-Athlete selections while the men's squad had five.
In order to qualify for Scholar-Athlete status, a player must meet the following criteria:
1. Be a varsity letter winner
2. Have a GPA of at least 3.5 for the current academic year
3. Have been enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters
In addition, both squads,also earned ITA All-Academic Team honors. This award is open to any member program that has a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or above.
