The New York University men's tennis team lost to Emory University 8-1 in the first round of the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship on Thursday, April 23. The championship is being held at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, FL.
The #8-seeded Violets got off to a good start against the top-seeded Eagles, with

Horace Choy. "Ian and Sam fought throughout the set and got a break right at the end to seal the victory."
The Violets return to the court tomorrow to face #5 Case Western Reserve University in the consolation draw. The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm."Getting some playing time at our conference tournament is a great experience for everyone on the roster," said Choy.
