The New York University men's tennis team won its third straight match, defeating Baruch College 5-0 on Tuesday, April 9, at the National Tennis Center in Flushing, NY.
The Violets (4-3) won all three doubles matches, and after capturing two of the singles matches, the rest of the competition was cancelled.
Harveer Bhalla was the lone double-winner for NYU.
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Bhalla paired with
Aaron Meltzer to win at #1 doubles. Bhalla also won his #2 singles match after his opponent retired in the first set.

James Dean was the only Violet to win a completed singles match, taking the #5 tilt in straight sets.
- NYU is now over .500 in dual matches for the firsat time this season.
- Baruch dropped to 6-4 with the loss.
"Our guys have really picked it up lately in preparation for our conference tournament later this month," said Head Coach
Horace Choy. "We hope to keep up our strong play against TCNJ later this week."
The Violets return to the court this Friday, April 12, at 3:30 pm when they face The College of New Jersey in Ewiing, NJ.
