The New York University men's tennis team had their four game win streak halted with a 6-3 loss at Vassar College on Friday, April 19, in Poughkeepsie, NY.
NYU (5-4) lost two of the three doubles matches while also dropping four of the six singles matches.
Harveer Bhalla and
Sidd Thangirala each earned a singles victory for the Violets while
CJ Leong and
Steven Wu combined for a victory in doubles.
The match was originally scheduled to take place outdoors, but had to be moved inside due to inclement weather.
"After we moved inside, they just made better adjustments than we did," said Head Coach
Horace Choy. "This was a little bump in the road after a good stretch, and we look forward to bouncing back on Sunday."
The Violets continue their weekend road trip when they return to the court to take on Wilkes University on Sunday, April 21, in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
