NYU head coach
Horace Choy was pleased with how the players did in their first dual-match.
“I thought the guys were just anxious to get out there and play,” said Choy. “There were a little nerves in the doubles, but we managed to pull it out. After that we settled down, and I felt we played a lot better in the singles.”
Choy is also very excited for the rest of the season.
“I thought we competed very well as a team, and starting out like this is very positive," Choy added. "If we continue like this I see nothing but good things coming our way.”
The Violets next take the court against Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, on Saturday March 3, at 1:00pm.
