The New York University men's swimming & diving team was defeated by The College of New Jersey 171-123 Saturday in Ewing, NJ, suffering its first loss of the season.

“It's obviously a tough loss,” said NYU head coach Bob Sorensen. “New Jersey is a very strong team and will do well at NCAA's. We would like to be right up there with them.”

Senior tri-captain Eric Wang captured victory in two events. He finished first in the 200 butterfly (1:56.40) and posted a win in the 200 individual medley (1:57.99).
