“T” Owens joined New York University as an Athletic Trainer in August 2024. She primarily works with NYU’s wrestling, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball teams.
Owens completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2022. She then added a Master of Science degree in Sports Management from the University of New Haven in May 2024, while also serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Chargers’ Athletics Department. She worked mainly with the women’s rugby and men’s and women’s track and field team.
Granted certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) in April 2022, Owens is also a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
A native of Loganville, GA, Owens is an avid movie goer, loves being active, and going thrift/vintage shopping.
