Shaun Nadkarni was named New York University's Assistant Athletic Communications Manager in July 2024. In his role, Nadkarni oversees the broadcast and statistical operations for the Violets' varsity teams, helps maintain the presentation of the athletics website and the promotion of NYU's student-athletes, coaches and teams.
A 2023 graduate of NYU with a Master of Science degree in Global Sport, Nadkarni returns to the school after serving as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Franklin & Marshall College. While with the Diplomats, Nadkarni assisted in the social media, broadcast and strategic communications initiatives of all 28 varsity teams.
Prior to Franklin & Marshall, Nadkarni was a graduate communications assistant with the Violets, working as the play-by-play commentator on live streams of home games.
In 2022, Nadkarni graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management. While an undergraduate, he was also a media relations intern for the Somerset Patriots, the New York Yankees double-A affiliate.
