NYU Athletics

Natalia Diaz was hired as the Special Events, Camps & Clinics Assistant at New York University's Department of Athletics, Intramurals, and Recreation in July 2023 through the McLendon Minority Leadership Initiative. 

She is a 2023 graduate of SUNY Oneonta, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. Natalia's passion for sports management became evident during her time at SUNY Oneonta, where she interned within the athletic department.

During her internship, Natalia played an integral role in game-day operations, collaborating closely with NCAA coaches and officials to ensure smooth outcomes. Due to her dedication and organizational skills, Natalia was hired as a student worker in the Oneonta athletic department. In this role, she took on the responsibility of supervising and mentoring introductory level students during game day operations.

She was instrumental in planning and executing SUNY Oneonta's first annual Special Olympics event, showcasing her event management and coordination abilities. 

A native of Valparaiso, Chile, Diaz resides in New York, NY.
