Brian Stapleton began serving as Assistant Manager - Membership Services at New York University in December 2014.
Prior to his current position, Stapleton worked as the HR/Network Administrator at the Palladium Athletic Facility, where he oversaw daily operations and supervised a student staff of over 200.
Stapleton served as an assistant wrestling coach at NYU from 1995-2002. During his seven years with the program, the team won two University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships and produced three NCAA All-Americans. In addition, NYU was twice selected as "UAA Coaching Staff of the Year" during his tenure.
A 1995 graduate of Manhattan College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and a minor in communications, Stapleton was a four-year member of the Jaspers’ wrestling team. He served as co-captain during his senior year and advanced to the finals of the 190-pound bracket at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships as a junior.
A Bronx native and resident, Stapleton enjoys science fiction and weightlifting.
