Biography
2010-11: Notched season-best times in the 50 free (25.20), the 100 fly (59.36) and the 200 fly (2:11.49) at the UAA Championships (2/16-19)…won the 200 fly (2:16.09) at the NYU Tri-Meet (11/13)…placed second in the 200 fly (2:19.14) vs. Springfield (1/15) and in the 200 fly (2:19.14) vs. Vassar (1/29)…took third in the 200 fly (2:19.68) at the Rochester Invitational (10/29-30)…placed third in the 100 fly (1:03.70) and the 200 fly (2:19.09) vs. TCNJ (1/22)…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic honoree...Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Fall and Spring Honor Roll. 2009-10: Produced six second-place finishes and a third-place finish during the season…set season-best marks in the 50 free (25.68), 100 fly (1:00.18), 200 fly (2:12.12), 200 free relay (1:42.04), and 400 free relay (3:41.92) at the UAA Championships (3/17-20)…took fifth place in the 200 fly (2:18.19) at the MIT Invitational, helping NYU to a first-place finish (12/4-5)…Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Spring Honor Roll…UAA Winter Sport All-Academic honoree. 2008-09: Earned Second Team All-UAA honors and helped set NYU records in the 200 free relay (1:38.08) and 400 medley relay (3:54.36) at the UAA Championships (2/11-14)…also established career-best times while placing fourth in the 100 fly (58.54) and fifth in the 200 fly (2:10.19) at that meet. High School: Swam varsity all four years and served as team captain her last three seasons…named North Jersey Female Swimmer of the Year by The Record…helped lead her team to its first-ever state tournament appearance…set six school records…qualified for the New Jersey State Championships three years in a row…also competed in track for four years and served as a captain…volunteered with the Special Olympics…served as vice president of the Medical Science Club…participated with the Great Books Club, Learn-to-Swim, Relay for Life, and the Student Council…member of the National and Spanish Honor societies. Personal: Minoring in psychology…recipient of the Pines Lake Scholarship, Addeo Scholarship, Rudin Scholarship, and the C.V. Starr Scholarship…had an article published in the Oncology Nursing Journal…enjoys going to the opera, doing triathlons, eating ice cream, and taking vital signs…plans to attend graduate school to become a nurse practitioner.
