In her first season on the sidelines in 2011, Wagner helped lead the team to one of the most successful seasons in school history. The Violets earned their second Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Metro Championship in school history and compiled a school-record-breaking 14 victories. NYU finished the season 14-6 overall and 3-4 in the ultra-competitive University Athletic Association (UAA), where the Violets recorded their highest finish (tied for fourth) since capturing the UAA crown in 2002.

Also in 2011, the squad shattered the school record for goals in a season with 49, eight more than when the mark was set in 2000.

A 2008 graduate of Tufts University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, Wagner was a three-year starter for the Jumbos’ women’s soccer program at midfielder. She helped Tufts reach the NCAA Division III Championship her sophomore and senior seasons, with her sophomore campaign culminating in a run to the “Final Four.”

Wagner started for Bates College her freshman year before transferring to Tufts.

Wagner has coached with the Bandits Soccer Club and at the preseason camp for her high school alma mater, Lincoln-Sudbury. She has also spent time coaching at the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association Camp.

An avid runner, Wagner has competed in the New York, Boston and San Francisco marathons. She is a native of Sudbury, MA, and currently resides in Manhattan.
