The 2006 season is Brooks Paskett’s first year as an assistant coach with the NYU women’s soccer team. His many responsibilities with the team include recruiting, coaching and team administration.
Paskett spent the 2005 season as the head coach at Central Wyoming College in Riverton, WY. His tasks included coaching, recruiting, scheduling, organizing logistics for away matches, and managing public relations.
Paskett has also accumulated youth coaching experience at the Riverton Soccer Club.
"Brooks is a strong addition to our soccer team. He’s extremely passionate about the game and is a natural leader,” NYU head coach Amanda Vandervort said. “We are fortunate to have him in the program."
A 2003 graduate of the University of Wyoming with a degree in architectural engineering, Paskett played for the Cowboys’ men’s club soccer team. He started every match for four years, scheduled all competitions and organized logistics for away matches.
A finalist for the University of Wyoming Tobin Graduating Senior of the Year Award, Paskett acted as House Manager, Social Chair, Interfraternity Council Representative, and Chaplain for Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He also served as a firefighter for three consecutive summers.
A native of Riverton, WY, Paskett will be residing in New York City.
