Jenny Kimbro was been hired as an assistant coach for the New York University men’s and women’s track & field teams prior to the 2023-24 indoor season. As a specialist in multi-events, she works primarily with the hurdlers and jumpers.
 
A 2021 graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Mass Communications, Kimbro was a five-year member of the Hawkeyes’ track & field team. A two-time Big Ten Champion in the 60-meter hurdles and as a member of the 4x400m relay in 2019, she went on to earn All-America honors in the pentathlon in 2020. Kimbro also set the Iowa school record in the heptathlon in 2019, and the pentathlon record in 2020.
 
Kimbro has gained much experience within the world of track and field, working as a marketing coordinator at Tracktown, U.S.A. in Eugene, OR, a high-profile professional track meet. She also served as a Floor Manager at the Oregon22 World Athletics Championship, working directly with professional athletes and the world champions in each event.
 
A native of Catlin, IL, Kimbro resides in Brooklyn, NY.
