Biography

2015-16: Made collegiate debut in the shot put (10.32m) at the Ramapo Season Opener (1/15)…set an indoor season best and finished 13th in the shot put (11.09m) at the NYC Metro Championships (2/5)…set an outdoor personal best in the shot put (11.08m) at the Raleigh Relays (3/26)…notched an outdoor season best and finished fourth in the discus throw (39.63m) at the UAA Outdoor Championships (4/23-24)…IAAC Spring Honor Roll.
 
High School: Four-year indoor and outdoor track team member…senior captain…established the school’s discus and shot put records…seven-time All-State (three times in discus and four times in shot put)…Wendy’s High School Heisman Connecticut State Finalist…CASCIAC Scholar Athlete…US Marine Corps Athletic and Scholastic Excellence Award.
 
Personal: Volunteered for the Pro Access Bethel Teen Center Advisory Group, Hindu Cultural Center, Indian Association of Western Connecticut, Brotherhood In Action, and Relay For Life.
