2012-13: Served as a team captain…opened the campaign with wins in the 100 breast (1:02.79) and 200 breast (2:20.65) vs. SUNY Cortland (10/20)…also contributed to wins in the 200 free relay (1:26.78) at the Rochester Quad Meet (10/26-27), 400 free relay (3:28.70) vs. Stevens Tech (11/10) and 200 medley relay (1:40.31) and 400 free relay (3:24.91) vs. Springfield (1/12)…helped the Violets to second-place finishes in the 200 medley relay (1:37.42), 200 free relay (1:27.34), 400 medley relay (3:32.89), and 400 free relay (3:12.05) at the ECAC Championships (11/30-12/2)…also swam season bests in the 100 breast (1:01.33) and 200 breast (2:12.69) at that meet…Intercollegiate Athletics Advisory Committee Spring Honor Roll. 2011-12: Earned personal bests in the 200 free (1:55.07) at NYU’s Fall Invitational (10/21-22) and in the 50 free (22.61) at the MIT Invitational (12/2-3)...placed second in the 100 (1:01.78) and 200 breast (2:21.67) against Springfield (1/14). 2010-11: Notched personal-best times in the 200 IM (2:03.20), 100 breast (1:00.36) and 200 breast (2:14.45) at the UAA Championships (2/16-19)…won both the 100 back (1:01.81) and 200 IM (2:06.56) vs. Vassar (1/29)…captured the 200 breast (2:19.21) and took second in the 100 breast (1:03.27) vs. Springfield (1/15). High School: Four-year team member…served as a captain during his junior and senior seasons…helped lead his team to the 2008-09 PSAL City Championship...named team MVP as a junior and senior…earned Ironman Award as a sophomore...broke the school record in the 100 breaststroke during his junior season…two-time Empire State Games qualifier…set the NYC FHHS 100-yard breast record and NYC FHHS 200-yard IM record...member of the school Honors Academy…winner of the freshman science fair…earned Advanced Regents diploma with honors…volunteered as a St. Ephrem Youth Swimming program assistant…also a member of the Dolphin Swimming Club and the Blue Arrow Swimming Club. Personal: Minoring in chemistry and Russian…enjoys cycling, running and traveling…has volunteered as a research assistant at the Langone Medical Center and as a volunteer ambulance EMT in Brooklyn…plans on working as a medical professional.
