Compliance Points are simply a series of required deadlines and responsibilities expected from clubs and their leadership. Compliance Points assess a club's health and impact on campus.
TEAM BIO:
The NYU Competitive Cheer team is highly committed team focusing national cheerleading competitions (through the NCA governing body). We foster a family-first environment, open communication style, and individualized coaching feedback. No matter your cheerleading background, we want your time as an NYU Cheerleader to add to your overall NYU experience!
Here's an example of various athletes in our program
- Worlds/All-Star cheerleading athletes who only do competition part of NYU Cheer
- Gymnast who are tumblers on our Violets National Team
- Members who attend open practices to train for competitive cheerleading, some of who moved to Violets National Team
- Spirited students that want to do community events
Tryout Information
All full-time students at New York University have the opportunity to try out. Graduate students may try out.
The team also performs and supports designated varsity and competitive club programs and events.
