The NYU Men's Water Polo team is made up of students from a variety of backgrounds. Both clubs routinely have players ranging from former NCAA athletes to students who have never played the game and are looking for a new challenge. While they are competitive groups and compete at high levels, they always remember that this is a club-- having fun and enjoying the sport comes first and foremost. The only requirement for joining either team is the ability to swim.
There will be a mandatory meeting during the first week of the Fall semester to go over the practice and competition schedules, medical clearance paper work, getting to know the coaches and players, and any other information prospects may want to know.
Practices take place every week, Monday through Wednesday, 9:30-11:30 pm at the Palladium Pool.
Tournaments & Travel: During the season, the team will participate in three tournaments. The games are on Saturdays and Sundays.
