TEAM BIO:
The NYU Hockey team competes at the Division 1 level of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). The team consists of athletes who are recruited from top prep schools and junior hockey programs from around the world. The team does offer managerial positions and tryout opportunities for walk-ons.
In 2017 & 2015, NYU Hockey captured the ACHA Division 2 National Championship title. In 2002, 2015 and 2017, the Violets won the Super East Collegiate Hockey League (SECHL) Championship. Since 2000, NYU Hockey has led the region in All-Academic Honorees. Due to the team's extraordinary commitment to community service, NYU Hockey has received the NYU President's Service Award in 2011, 2015, 2016 & 2017 as well as the ACHA National Community Service Award in 2015 & 2016.
Home games are free to attend! NYU Hockey games have become an electrifying experience for NYU students and the NYC community.
