NYU Rowing invites motivated, athletic students to join the team and compete in the sport on an intercollegiate level. They are seeking rowers and coxswains for both the men's and women's squads.

The team holds water training at the Passaic River Rowing Association in Lyndhurst, NJ, and land training in the Palladium Athletic Facility.

NYU competes in regional, national and international championships, all held in the immediate Northeastern region. These races include the prestigious Dad Vail Regatta in Philadelphia and the world-famous Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston. The team competes against varsity and club teams. Primary rivals include other University Athletic Association (UAA)
schools, as well as local rivals Manhattan College, Iona College and Fordham University.
