Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field Team Members Earn CSC Academic All- District Honors

10 Athletes Honored

A total of 10 members of the New York University men's and women's cross country/track & field teams have received academic accolades from The College Sports Communicators (CSC) following their impressive 2025-26 seasons. The CSC announced its Academic All-District Teams on Tuesday, with six members of the men's team and four members of the women's team earning recognition for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

To be eligible to earn CSC All-District honors, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and must maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. To be considered for achievements in cross country, athletes must have finished top 50 individually at their regional meet. In track & field, they must be ranked top 50 regionally in a single event. Eligible nominees are based off TFRRS regional performance rankings at the time of nomination.

Honorees from the women's team were Josephine Dziedzic, Lucy Gott, Grace Rowley, and Ashlyn Pallotta, while the men's runners were Alex Hrycyszyn, Andrew Taylor, Huckleberry Oakes, Julian Aske, Liam Hagerty, and Jeffrey Chen.

All 10 honorees represented the Violets at the NCAA Championships during either cross country, indoor track & field, or outdoor track & field competition, combining for 10 All-America honors.

The 2025-26 season marked an historic year for NYU Cross Country and Track & Field. The women's cross country team captured the first NCAA Division III National Championship in program history, while the men's team placed fourth, finishing on the podium for the first time since 2009. Together, the programs recorded the highest combined finish among all Division III institutions. Additionally, the women's track & field team produced its highest placements ever at both the NCAA Indoor (15th) and Outdoor (23rd) Championships.
