The New York University men's and women's track & field teams closed out their weekends at the Paul Donahue Invitational, hosted by Widener University, on Saturday, April 18, in Chester, PA.
The Violets saw several impressive performances on the afternoon, including a second-place finish by
Alexa McMillian in the women's triple jump with a jump of 5.55 meters.
Additionally,
Areyanna McCarthy placed ninth in the women's high jump with a jump of 1.50 meters.
The quartet of McCarthy, McMillian,
Beverly Okyere, and
Adrianna Kosmont came in 10th place in the women's 4x100m relay race with a time of 51.02.
James Thompson recorded a time of 11.16 in the men's 100-meter dash, while
Flynt Whitworth registered a time of 22.25 in the men's 200-meter dash, both of which were good for top-20 finishes in their respective races.
Audrey Adam placed 15th in the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.69.
Both squads will return to action next weekend for the UAA Championships, hosted by Case Western Reserve University, beginning on Saturday, April 25.
