Women's Fencing Falls to Harvard

Crimson Defeat Violets

The New York University women's fencing team lost to Harvard University by a score of 21-6 on Saturday, February 1, in Cambridge, MA.

The Violets' epee squad was edged 5-4, while foil and saber lost 8-1.

Katherine Chen was the day's top performer, recording two wins against the Crimson in epee. The team's other two wins in epee were logged by Lily Papadakis and Karina Dyner.

Maria Stamos and Sharon Ni each notched a win in foil and saber, respectively. 

The Violets will fence again in Cambridge as they head to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the Eric Sollee Invitational on Sunday, February 2, starting at 9 AM.
