Nine student-athletes from New York University's soccer teams have been named to the
2025-26 Academic All-District Soccer Teams by College Sports Communicators (CSC). This prestigious honor recognizes their excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
To earn this distinction, student-athletes must be at least sophomores, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and be key contributors to their respective teams.
The women's honorees are
Annabelle Booker,
Hunter Hoelscher,
Carmen Cicerini,
Eileen Xu*, and
Julia Spang while the men's honorees included
Felix Dyckerhoff,
Felipe Remon,
Joe Brancato, and
Julian Recio.
Xu, who was denoted with an asterisk, will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members to be announced on December 17, 2025.
The men's soccer team wrapped up their season on November 8 with a 1-1 tie against Brandeis, concluding the 2025 campaign with a 4-9-2 record and a 2-4-1 mark in the University Athletic Association (UAA).
The women finished the season with a third straight NCAA Divison III Tournament appearance, where they tied 1-1 with Wesleyan University before dropping 4-3 in penalties. They ended the season 9-3-5 and a 3-3-1 record in the UAA.
