Ten student-athletes from New York University's soccer teams have been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Soccer Teams by College Sports Communicators (CSC). This prestigious honor recognizes their excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
The men's honorees are Nathan Bennett, Jackson McCloskey, Bryce Lexow, Ahmed Ibrahim, and Joss Cohen, while the women's honorees include Kelli Keady, Riley Felsher, Rena Kalargiros, Hope Neale, and Rachel Kim. To earn this distinction, student-athletes must be at least sophomores, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and be key contributors to their respective teams.

The men's soccer team concluded their season on November 9 with a 1-0 loss to Brandeis University, wrapping up the 2024 campaign with a 6-6-3 record and a 1-5-1 mark in the University Athletic Association (UAA).
Meanwhile, the women's soccer team is making a strong postseason run, advancing to the third round of the NCAA National Championship. The Violets are set to face Johns Hopkins University on Saturday, November 23, at 1:30pm in Newport News, VA.
