The New York University men's and women's cross country teams swept the University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week awards following outstanding individual performances by 
Liam Hagerty on the men's side and 
Josephine Dziedzic on the women's side.
Hagerty ran a career-best 8k time in the Connecticut College Invitational Blue Blue Race on Saturday. He was the Violets' top finisher with a time of 24:11.9, taking fourth place in a field of 264 runners. His performance helped lead 
#4-ranked NYU to a fourth-place finish in the 34-team event.  
Dziedzic ran a career-best 6k time in the Connecticut College Invitational Blue Blue Race on Saturday. She was NYU's top finisher with a time of 20:43.8, taking third place in a field of 261 runners. Her performance helped lead 
top-ranked NYU to a fifth-place finish in the 33-team event.
Both the men and women will return to action on Saturday, November 1, for the UAA Championship in Edwardsville, IL.
