The New York University men's tean team is competing at the two-day Haverford/Swarthmore Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, September 21-22, in Swarthmore.
The Violets played 15 singles and nine doubles matches against opponents from Haverford College and Vassar College.
NYU's
Bryan Hui had a strong match in his singles victory over Vassar College (6-3, 6-2).
Alex Lee was also dominant against his opponent from Vassar, posting a 6-0, 7-6 singles win.
Three other Violets,
Boren Zheng,
Shrey Arora, and
Zachary Freier were also victorious in singles matches.
In doubles, the duo of Freier and
Nithin Sankar earned NYU's only doubles victory (8-6).
The Violets return to the courts on Sunday for the second day of competition.
