After multiple weather-related delays,
Grace Richardson and
Ryan Tobin of the New York University track & field teams competed in the 5,000-meter run at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Cortland, NY, on Saturday, May 25.
Richardson, fresh off a second-place finish in the 10k this past Thursday, notched a seventh-place finish in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 16:59.07.
With the two points she earned today in the 5k and the eight she garnered in the 10k on Thursday, the Violets tied for 20th place in the 109-team competition.
Tobin crossed the finish line in 14:56.78, securing 21st place in the men's section.
