The New York University men's tennis team was defeated by New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday, April 10, in Newark, NJ. 

The Violets lone winner was sophomore Boren Zheng, who played #1 singles and defeated his opponent 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.

NYU is now 2-5 this season.

The squad returns to action on Friday, April 10, for a match against Hobart College in Geneva, NY. First serves are set for 10:00am.
