Tyler Deck Shipley's Violets shined on the course as well as in the classroom this past season, including a historic showing at Nationals. The NYU women were National Runners Up, their best finish in program history, also winning their first-ever University Athletic Association (UAA) title in 2023.
Men's cross country also re-established itself on the national scene, making its first team appearance at Nationals since 2017. The Violets finished 16th at the meet, also placing second at the Niagara Regionals and fifth at the UAA Championships.
NYU's distance runners return to action on Friday, February 2, hosting the NYU DIII Invitational at The Armory in Manhattan.
