Violets Compete in Doubles

The New York University women's tennis team completed play at the Vassar College Scramble in Poughkeepsie, NY, on Sunday, September 11.

Due to rainy conditions, the event was moved indoors and the teams only competed in doubles.

All-American Karina Jensrud produced a pair of victories competing with different teammates. She combined with Aditi Narayan for a 6-0 shutout of their SUNY New Paltz opponents and paired with Hannah Chang for a 7-5 win over their foes from Hamilton College.

There was no team scoring at the competition.

The Violets are back in action next weekend at the Lions Invitational hosted by The College of New Jersey on Saturday and Sunday, September 17-18, in Ewing, NJ.
