The New York University women's fencing team lost to Harvard University on Super Bowl Sunday, February 4, in Cambridge, MA

NYU (11-14) fell to the Crimson (9-4) by a score of 21-6. The Violets completed their weekend trip to Massachusetts after going 5-1 at the Eric Sollee Invitational at Brandeis University on Saturday.

Jacqueline Tubbs was NYU's top performer, winning two of her three sabre contests. Violet sabre fencers contributed four of the six violet victories.

The Violets return to action on Wednesday, February 14, when they travel uptown to Columbia University. The Quad Meet will also feature Scared Heart University and Vassar College. The competition is set to begin at 5:00pm.
