Women's Fencing Concludes Philadelphia Invitational

Violets Go 2-3 on Sunday

The New York University women's fencing team wrapped up competition at the Philadelphia Invitational, a two-day event being hosted by the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday and Sunday, January 20 and 21, in Philadelphia, PA.

The Short Story: NYU finished day two with a 2-3 record after winning three of five matches on Saturday. On Sunday, the Violets picked up wins over Brown University and Wayne State University, while falling to the University of Notre Dame, Columbia University and St. John's University. NYU's record now stands at 6-12 this season.
